Curd is an excellent base for any dish, which is why we have got this delicious curd idli recipe for you! Curd is a perfect source of calcium.

Ingredients: Idlis – 3, Curd- 1/2 cup, Idli Powder - 1 tsp + 1 tbsp + extra, Salt to taste, Sugar to taste , Oil - 1 tbsp, Coriander Leaves- for garnish. For Seasoning: Oil - 1 tsp, Mustard Seeds- 1/2 tsp, Urad dal- 1/2 tsp, Cumin Seeds- 1/2 tsp, Asafoetida- a pinch, Curry Leaves - 1 sprig 


1.   Take curd, idli powder, salt and sugar in a bowl and mix well. 

2.   Prepare seasoning by heating oil and frying all the seasoning ingredients. Pour this over curd and mix well. Chill in fridge.

3.   Heat a tawa with oil. Take idli and dip it in idli powder on both sides. Fry it till golden brown.

4.   Place fried idli in a plate. Pour curd mix over this and sprinkle idli powder and chopped coriander leaves. Serve immediately.
