Custard Apple Ice Cream
Custard Apple or sugar apple is a rich source of phosphorus, dietary fibre, copper, calcium, Vitamin A, magnesium and potassium. This recipe allows you to use this nutritious fruit to make a delicious ice cream. Easy and quick to make, this ice cream is highly nutritious and delicious.
Ingredients: 1 cup custard apple pulp, 1 cup boiled and cooled milk, 1 cup crushed marie biscuits, 6 tbsp. sugar.
1. Put all the ingredients into a mixer jar and blend till you get a smooth ice cream mixture.
2. Pour out into a bowl with a tight fitting lid and refrigerate for 3-4 hours to allow the ice cream to set.
3. Remove and whip again for half a minute. Place the mixture back into the bowl and refrigerate.
Your custard apple ice cream is ready to serve. Scoop out and serve as it is or use it as a topping on milkshakes. Try it out today!
