Here is an interesting recipe for a yummy ladoo that you can easily and quickly prepare at home. Dates sesame ladoos are a delight to the palate and also highly nutritious as they are made using dates and sesame. Dates are a rich source of calcium, iron, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, magnesium, zinc, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, folate, Vitamin A and Vitamin K. Sesame seeds offer protein, folate, Vitamin B6, thiamine, dietary fibre, zinc, copper, manganese, phosphorus, magnesium, iron and calcium. 

Ingredients: 300 gms dates deseeded, 1 ¼ cup sesame seeds, ¼ cup cashews, 4 green cardamoms

Steps

 1. Dry roast 1 cup of sesame seeds till you can smell their aroma. Next, grind them in a mixer along with the cardamoms into a fine powder. Set aside. 

 2. Mash the deseeded dates and add the sesame powder into it. Knead well and pinch out small balls.

 3. Roll the balls in the remaining sesame seeds.
