Delicious Ragi Halwa Recipe
Ragi is a rich source of carbohydrates, fibre, calcium and iron. Here is an easy and quick recipe that you can prepare as dessert. It is not only tasty but is also highly nutritious and is sure to supplement his meals.
Ingredients: ½ cup ragi, 1 cup hot milk, 3-4 tablespoons of ghee, ¼ cup sugar, a pinch of cardamom powder, half a cup of chopped almonds and pistachios.
1. Heat ghee in a pan and add ragi flour. Cook till the mixture bubbles.
2. Add sugar and hot milk. Cook well till the mixture starts leaving the edges of the pan.
3. Once the mixture has thickened add the cardamom powder.
4. Remove into a serving dish, garnished with chopped dry fruits.
