Easy Beetroot Halwa
You can prepare a simple and tasty delicacy. Beetroot Halwa is sweet and savoring. The basic ingredients for its preparation are sugar, beetroot, milk, chopped cashew nuts, raisins and grated beetroot. The presence of beetroot makes this recipe rich in Vitamin C and Iron.
1. The first step is to heat ghee in a pan. Then add beetroot and sauté it for at least 3 minutes.
2. Then add milk and cook it with constant stirring. Cook it till the milk gets thick.
3. Add sugar and mix it well. Heat it for 2 minutes. Then add nuts and raisins.
4. Observe when the sugar starts leaving sides. Add the remaining ghee.
You can garnish the dish with almonds or saffron. This is a lovely recipe which would be admired by all.
