Egg Bhurji Sandwich
Egg bhurji is very easy to make and can be served as a side dish or snacks. But have you ever thought of making a sandwich out of it? Here’s a simple way in which you can make a yummy sandwich using egg bhurji, which is extremely healthy as eggs are a rich source of protein, copper, iron, zinc, Vitamin D, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12 and selenium.
Ingredients: 2-3 eggs, 4 slices of brown bread, 1 tsp. oil, ¼ tsp cumin, ½ tsp. grated ginger, 1/8 tsp red chilli powder, 1 green chilli chopped, a pinch of garam masala, a pinch of turmeric powder, salt, lemon juice, grated carrots, chopped cabbage, chopped coriander leaves.
1. Toast the bread slices on a tawa and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan and splutter the cumin seeds. Add the grated ginger and green chillies and sauté.
3. Pour in the egg and scramble on medium flame. Sprinkle the spice powders, salt and lemon juice.
4. Place the scrambled egg on a bread slice, top with the chopped vegetables and place another bread on top.
