French Toast

French toasts are easy to make and are highly nutritious as they are made using eggs, which are a rich source of protein, copper, iron, zinc, Vitamin D, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12 and selenium. In addition, if you are using brown bread, you are consuming additional nutrients such as dietary fibre, B Vitamins, Vitamin E, Vitamin K and pantothenic acid. 

Ingredients: 1 egg, 3 thick brown bread slices, 2 tbsp. milk, 2 pinches of cinnamon powder, a pinch of salt, 1 tsp. sugar, butter. 


 1. In a bowl, mix the eggs, milk, cinnamon powder, salt and sugar. 

 2. Melt the butter in a pan, dip the bread slices in the egg mixture. 

 3. Toast the dipped bread on the pan till both sides are golden and crispy.
