French Toast With Berries

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So here is something very healthy and delicious which you can make at home. Berries are very high in sodium and proteins, so it adds up a lot to your health. French Toast with Berries will be a perfect blend for healthy as well as mouth watering.
 
Ingredients
 
2 slices hardy whole grain bread sliced ½ thick, 1 egg, 2 T vanilla almond milk, ½ cup assorted fresh berries, 1 T maple syrup, 1 tsp vanilla paste, whisk together and warm, 2 T organic cottage cheese, 1 pat butter to top and more for pan.
 
Steps:
 
1. Whisk together one egg and 2 T vanilla almond milk and set aside. Heat a pan on medium heat till hot and add butter to pan. When pan is hot and butter is melted dip bread in egg / almond milk mixture and set in pan.
 
2. Cook for about three minutes till golden brown and then turn and cook other side till golden.
 
3. Spoon organic cottage cheese on one slice of French toast and top with berries. Then place second slice of bread on top of that and drizzle with a mixture of 1 T real maple syrup and 1 tsp of vanilla paste.
 
4. Melt a little butter on top and serve it with more berries.
