Looking for a new and different recipe? Try our fried idli recipe, full of the goodness of carbohydrates. 

Ingredients: 5 Left over idlis (cut into small pieces), 1 chopped onion, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1 tbsp grated coconut, chopped curry leaves – few, chopped coriander leaves – few, 10 capsicum thin slices, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp fresh ginger-garlic paste, salt - to taste, 2 tbsp oil

Steps:

1.  Heat oil and shallow fry idli pieces with salt. Keep aside.

2. Heat the remaining oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and saute.

3. Add chopped onion, capsicum slices, coriander leaves, garam masala, salt, ginger- garlic paste and grated coconut and saute well. 

4. Add the fried idli pieces and mix well. Serve hot.
