Grilled Cheese Wafflewich
A fancy evening snack with loads of healthy element. This dish can prove to be your next all time favourite. It is also high in protein and vitamins.
Ingredients: 2 burger buns, 2 slices Havarti (cheese), 3 pieces bacon (cooked and halved), ½ green apple (cored and sliced into thin pieces), butter, waffle maker.
1. Turn on the waffle iron, set to medium or 3, on the outside of each bun (top and bottom) slather just a little butter on.
2. Place the bottom half of the bun on the waffle maker grill, lay 3 pieces of bacon down, and add one piece of cheese, top the cheese with 4 slices of green apple.
3. Place the top part of the bun on top and repeat with the second one.
4. Close the waffle iron and let it cook away until it beeps. Cut it in half and serve it with tomato sauce.
