Delicious Chicken Satay with Peanut Butter
This is a family recipe that shouldn’t be missed. It is great because peanut butter is nutrient-dense, with complex carbohydrates while chicken has protein, calcium, and zinc to build immune system.
Ingredients to make Chicken Satay with Peanut Butter:
4 chicken breasts, lemon, garlic clove, honey, peanut butter- 100 gm, coconut milk-1 cup, onion-1, chilly, brown sugar- 1 tsp
Steps to make Chicken Satay with Peanut Butter:
1. Crush a garlic clove, add tbsp. of lemon, soy sauce, and honey with 1 tsp of peanut butter. Use this as a marinade for 4 chicken breasts. Increase quantity depending on chicken. Cut chicken breasts lengthways in 4-5 strips.
2. Let it marinade for 30 minutes.
3. Soak skewers in cold water. Preheat the grill and thread chicken pieces to skewers. Use a non-stick pan if you don’t have skewers. Grill 4 minutes on each side. Prepare a sauce using vegetable oil in a pan, add half an onion, crushed dried chilly, a cup of coconut milk, 1 tsp of soft brown sugar, a cup of water and 100 gm peanut butter.
