Lemon Grass Rice
Lemon grass rice is an easy recipe and it offers the nutritional goodness of lemon grass. Lemon grass is a rich source of potassium, carbohydrate, protein, Vitamin C, iron, Vitamin B6 and magnesium. You can easily cook this dish at home for lunch or dinner and serve a yummy Thai dish.
Ingredients: 1 cup basmati rice, 1-2 lemon grass stems, 2 cups water, salt, sesame oil.
1. Soak the rice for 20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
2. Chop the lemon grass stems and cook the rice and chopped lemon grass in a pressure cooker, along with salt, water and a little oil.
3. Remove from the cooker, fluff the rice and serve with a Thai vegetable dish.
