Mango Sherbet

The mango is considered to be the king of fruits because of its superior taste, aroma and high nutritional value. Mangoes are rich sources of potassium, carbohydrates, dietary fibre, Vitamin C, Vitamin A, iron, calcium, Vitamin B6 and magnesium. You can easily prepare mango sherbet at home using this recipe in a matter of few minutes. 

Ingredients: 2 cups of mango puree, 2 tsp of sabja seeds, powdered jaggery as per taste, 4 cups of chilled water, 1 tbsp. of lemon juice and ice cubes. 


 1. Soak the sabja seeds in water for half an hour. 

 2. Mix the rest of the ingredients in a grinder and blend into a smooth puree. 

 3. Pour out into tall glasses, garnish with sabja seeds and serve with ice cubes.
