Bhel puri is the fastest and healthiest snack for everybody, especially for kids. Veggies like onion, tomato, cucumber, carrot and fruits like papaya, apple, pomegranate make it healthier. The puffed rice contains a few of vitamins including thiamine, riboflavin, niacin and folate, but in small amounts, which are essential for your kid’s growth. Papaya is good for digestion, apple and carrot are good sources of iron and vitamin A which help in improving kids eyesight.
Ingredients: 2 bowls puffed rice, 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped tomato, 1/2 cucumber, 1/4 bowl grated carrot, ¼ bowl papaya cut into small dices, ¼ bowl apple cut into small dices, 1 bowl of any bhujia namkeen available with you, 1/2 half a lemon, salt, chaat masala
1. Take a big bowl. Mix all the veggies and fruits into it.
2. Sprinkle ½ tbsp salt and chaat masala in it.
3. Toss it with half lemon juice.
4. Now add puffed rice. Mix all well. Add namkeen in the last.
Serve this as an evening snack to your kid.
Note: Don't let this stay for long as the puffed rice and namkeen will get soggy in some time. You can add or lessen the quantity as per your requirement.
