Murungai Ilai Adai

A South Indian dish which is perfect for breakfast! Besides being delicious, this dish offers a truckload of nutrition as it made using drumstick leaves, which are a rich source of protein, Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, iron, riboflavin, Vitamin A and magnesium. 

Ingredients: ¼ cup raw rice, ¼ cup red boiled rice, ½ cup drumstick leaves, salt as per taste and sesame oil.  


 1. Wash and soak the rice for about 6 hours. Later, grind it into a smooth batter and let it rest for another 6 hours. 

 2. Add the washed and cleaned drumstick leaves to the batter and mix well. 

 3. Heat a tawa, grease it with oil and pour the batter into a dosa. Drizzle oil on the sides and the top and flip.

 4. Cook till both sides are golden and crispy.
