Nutritious Chicken And Lentil Patties
If you have a fussy eater at home, then these chicken lentil patties will be a sure hit. The chicken and the lentil in the patty will keep you happy. These high protein patties can be eaten as a snack or a side dish with dinner.
To make Chicken Lentil Patties:
1. Boil 2 large potatoes, peel and mash well with 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp milk.
2. Add 1 thinly sliced onion, 1 grated carrot, ¾ cup cooked rice, ½ cup boiled channa dal, 250 gms minced boiled chicken, a big splash of tomato ketchup, and salt.
3. Mash and mix well and shape into small patties.
4. Beat 2 eggs and dip patties in the egg. Coat with bread crumbs.
5. Shallow fry in batches.
Serve with some fried rice for a tasty and complete dinner.
