Paneer Corn Korma

It’s time to try out a recipe that is highly nutritious. An easy and quick recipe to be made with health benefits of paneer which is a rich source of calcium and will strengthen the bones. Corn is a rich source of antioxidants and will help in promoting healthy vision.

Ingredients: 1 cup of tomato puree, 1 medium sized onion chopped, 150 gm paneer cut into small cubes, 1/4 cup of frozen corn kernels, ¼ tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of chilli powder, salt to taste, 2 tbsp of oil (Measuring cup used, 1 cup = 250 ml)

Steps: 

1. Take a wok and heat oil in it. Add onions to it and sauté till golden brown.

2. Now, add tomato puree to it and stir for a minute. Add chilli powder, salt and turmeric powder to it and stir till the oil separates from the gravy. Add 2 cups of water to it and give it a boil by covering it.

3. Add paneer and corn kernels to it. Let it cook for 10 minutes till the gravy thickens.

4. Serve hot with parathas.
