Pesarattu dosa is a highly nutritious version of dosa which is made using moong beans. Moong beans are a rich source of manganese, phosphorus, copper, zinc, magnesium, iron, potassium, calcium, Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin B6, Vitamin A, Vitamin B etc.
Ingredients: 2 cups green moong beans, 1 green chilli chopped, ½ inch ginger chopped, a pinch of hing, ¼ tbsp. rice flour, ¼ cup chopped coriander leaves, salt, 1 onion chopped, 1 green chilli chopped, oil.
1. Soak the moong beans in water overnight. Next morning, drain the water and grind it into a smooth batter along with the green chillies, ginger, hing, rice flour and chopped coriander leaves.
2. Heat a tawa and grease it with some oil. When the base is done, drizzle some oil on the sides and the top. Sprinkle the chopped onions and green chillies.
3. Flip and cook both sides.
Cook this yummy dosa today and serve with sambar!
