Substitute your favourite French fries with healthier potato wedges as a snack. Potato wedges are easy to make and are a lot healthier as they offer the nutritional benefits of potatoes. Potatoes are a rich source of phytonutrients, pantothenic acid, dietary fibre, niacin, phosphorus, manganese, Vitamin C, copper and potassium. Here’s how you can make potato wedges at home: 

Ingredients: 4 potatoes cut into wedges, salt, 1 tbsp. olive oil, 1 tsp rosemary, ½ tsp coarse pepper powder, ¼ tsp. garlic powder. 


 1. Soak the potatoes wedges in warm water for an hour. 

 2. Drain and wipe them dry. 

 3. In a bowl, mix the potatoes well with the rest of the ingredients. 

 4. You can bake the potatoes at 200oC for 30 minutes or shallow fry them in oil. 

 Serve with tomato ketchup.
