Ragi is rich in amino acids, dietary fiber and iron and is highly essential for a balanced diet. Here’s a fun way in which you can prepare a delicious sweet with Ragi and derive all its goodness.

Ingredients: 1 ½ cup of ragi flour, ¾ cup of powdered jaggery, 1/3 cup of ghee, ½ teaspoon of cardamom powder. 

 Steps: 

 1. In a kadhai roast the ragi flour for about 10 minutes on low flame till it becomes crunchy in taste. 

 2. Add the ghee and mix well. 

 3. Switch off the flame and add the jaggery and cardamom powder. Close the lid and let the mixture warm up. 

 4. Use your hands to shape out ladoos from the mixture. If needed, add a little more ghee.
