Cook a special delight for snack time with this simple and easy recipe. Rice cutlets are made using cooked rice, which are a rich source of carbohydrates, dietary fibre and energy. You can easily make these cutlets at home in no time. 

Ingredients: 1 cup cooked rice, ½ cup mashed potatoes, ½ cup chopped onion, 1 green chilli chopped, 2 tablespoons chopped coriander, a pinch of turmeric powder, ¼ tsp each of chilli and garam masala powders, ½ tsp each of cumin and coriander powders, 3 tbsp besan, salt, oil. 

 Steps: ‘

 1. Take all ingredients except oil in a bowl and mash together. 

 2. From this mash, roll out balls and using your hands shape them into cutlets. 

 3. Heat oil in a pan and fry the cutlets on all sides till they are crisp and golden. 

Serve hot with tomato ketchup or a spicy dip. Quick, isn’t it? So get going on the recipe and surprise with this delicious snack.
