Sweet Corn Kheer

Prepare a delicious dessert with this Sweet Corn Kheer recipe. Corn is rich in potassium, sodium, iron, Vitamin B6 and magnesium and hence is an important food item that should be included in diet for healthy growth.

Ingredients: 1 cup of corn kernels, 2 ½ cup milk, ½ tsp of cardamom powder, 1/.2 tbsp ghee, 3-4 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp of blanched and sliced pistachios, 15-16 saffron strands


 1. In a grinder, make a smooth paste using the corn kernels and 2 tbsp of milk. Set aside. 

 2. Heat ghee in a pan, pour in the corn-milk solution and sauté for a couple of minutes. 

 3. Soak the saffron strands in 1 tbsp of warm milk and keep ready

 4. Add 2 cups of milk and stir. When the kheer comes to a boil, add the sugar, cardamom powder, sliced pistachios and saffron strands. 

 Serve warm. Your darling is going to love it!
