Tasty Mint Chutney
Mint is a great appetizer and palate cleanser that promotes digestion. Rich in protein, phosphorus, zinc, vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, iron, and fiber, it also soothes stomach in cases of indigestion or inflammation.
Ingredients: 1/2 bunch mint leaves, salt, water,1/2 bunch coriander leaves,1/4 tamarind,1/4 ginger, hing, urad dal,15-20 dry red chili,oil.
1. In a pan pour little oil and put little urad dal, make sure you don't burn them.
2. Now to this add mint leaves, coriander leaves, tamarind, ginger, dry red chilli, and salt to taste. Fry them well for a minute or two.
3. Now after it cools, make a paste of all these ingredients.
4. In a tawa give a tadka of mustard in a little extra oil and pour this mixture. Add water to your level of want of liquidness and heat the chutney.
Your yummy, healthy and appetizing chutney is ready to serve with idly or dosa.
