Tomato Omelette

Omelettes offer the goodness of eggs, which are a rich source of protein, Vitamin A, iron, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12 and magnesium. Boost the nutritional value of the omelette you make with this recipe as it uses tomatoes, which are rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin A, dietary fibre and Vitamin B6.

 Ingredients: 1 cup besan, 2 tomatoes chopped, 1 onion chopped, ½ inch ginger chopped, 1 green chilli chopped, ½ cup coriander leaves chopped, ¼ tsp chilli powder, a pinch of hing, a pinch of garam masala, ¼ tsp. turmeric powder, 2 cups water, salt, oil. 


 1. Mix all the ingredients except oil in a bowl. 

 2. Heat a tawa and drizzle some oil on it. Pour the omelette mix onto the tawa. 

 3. Pour some oil on the edges and top of the omelette. 

 4. Flip to cook both sides. 

 5. Remove from the pan when both sides are done. 

You can serve this omelette with buns or bread and a spicy chutney. Simple and easy to cook, this recipe deserves a try!
