Stop worrying about your love for burgers and make it one at home. Surprised? Don’t be. Here’s a healthy and easy recipe that will allow you to make yummy burgers at home. This burger is made using fresh vegetables, which are rich sources of Vitamin C, Vitamin A, folate, dietary fibre and potassium. 

Ingredients: 1 ½ cup potato cubes, 1 cup cubed carrots, ½ cup finely chopped beans, ½ cup beans, 1 ½ tsp ginger paste, 2-3 green chillies chopped, coriander leaves finely chopped, 1 ½ tsp. garam masala powder,1 ½ cup bread crumbs, salt, ½ cup besan, 6 burger buns, lettuce, 1-2 tomatoes chopped, 1 onion chopped, ¼ cup mayonnaise, 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil, 1 ½ tsp. lemon juice, ½ tsp. mustard powder, ¼ tsp. pepper powder, salt. 

Steps

 1. Steam the vegetables and mash them well. Add the chillies, a portion of the bread crumsb, ginger, garam masala, salt, coriander leaves and mix well with the rest of the vegetable mix. 

 2. Make a batter using the besan and set aside. Shape out patties, dip them in the besam, coat with bread crumbs and fry them. 

 3. Mix the mayonnaise, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper and set aside. 

 4. On the burger buns, first spread the mayo sauce, place the patty, top with lettuce and chopped onions and tomatoes and seal with another piece of bun. 

Veg burger is ready! Prepare this at home today and serve with ketchup.
