Vegetable Adai

Make your dosas healthier and more nutritious with this recipe. Vegetable adai is made using fresh vegetables, which are a rich source of Vitamin C, Vitamin A, folate, dietary fibre and potassium, and thus, are quite healthy.

Ingredients: 1 cup rice, ½ cup each of toor and chana dal, 2 tbsp urad dal, 1 cup chopped or grated vegetables of your choice, salt, 4 dry red chillies, ¼ tsp hing, 1” ginger, 1 tsp cumin seeds, oil. 


 1. Soak the rice and dals or an hour. Later, shift them into a mixer jar along with the vegetables, dry red chillies, hing, ginger, cumin seeds etc. and grind them into a smooth paste. 

 2. Heat a tawa, grease it with some oil and pour the tawa in the shape of a dosa. 

 3. Cook both sides and remove from the flame.
