Whole Wheat Grain Adai
Whole Wheat Grain adai is made using whole wheat grain and hence are as nutritious as they are delicious. Whole wheat grain is a rich source of protein, dietary fibre, B Vitamins, manganese, copper, magnesium and pantothenic acid.
Ingredients: ½ cup brown rice, ½ cup quinoa, ¼ cup each of toor, chana, green gram and urad dals, 1 cup of finely chopped vegetables, salt, 4 dry red chillies, a pinch of hing, 1” ginger, 1 tsp fennel seeds, a few curry leaves, oil.
1. Soak the rice and dals in water for a couple of hours. Later, shift them into a mixer jar and add dry red chillies, hing, ginger, fennel seeds, curry leaves and salt and grind into a smooth batter.
2. Add the chopped vegetables and mix well. Chop or grate the vegetables in a manner that they are cooked easily.
3. Heat a griddle and grease it with some oil. Pour out the batter in the form of dosa and cook both sides.
