We know that you are constantly searching for nutritious recipes. Here we have for you a yummy puri recipe that’s made healthy by using wheat flour instead of maida! Wheat flour is a much healthier alternative to maida as it packed with minerals and fibre.

Ingredients: 1 kilogram Wheat flour, Refined oil – ½ cup, Oil for frying, Sugar- 1 tsp, Yeast- ½ tsp, Salt to taste


1.  Mix wheat flour and add refined oil with sugar. Add yeast and knead it into a dough. Allow it to rest overnight.

2.  Take a small portion of dough and roll it into the shape of a puri.

3.  Deep fry on hot flame. Allow it to cook on both sides till brown.

4.  Serve hot with pickle or curd.
