Kala chana is a good source of protein, carbohydrates and iron which is perfect for bone development. Apart from this, tomato is present in the recipe that offers Vitamin C, Vitamin A and Vitamin B-6.
Ingredients: 2 cups boiled chana water, 5 garlic cloves, ginger grated, ¾ cup tomato puree, salt, ½ tsp red chili powder, ½ tsp paprika, ¾ tsp roasted cumin powder, chopped cilantro, 2 tsp olive oil.
1. Take a pot and heat oil. To this add garlic and sauté. Then add ginger and stir it well for 1 min.
2. The next step is to add tomato puree and cook until the raw smell fades. Now, add salt, red chili powder, paprika and cumin. Let it cook at least 2 min.
3. Now add kala chana water and let the content boil. Simmer for additional few minutes and check the consistency.
Garnish the soup with chopped cilantro. Try it today.
