Curd Oats

Wouldn’t you like to learn a great breakfast recipe that you can whip up in no time? This curd oats recipe is perfect for you. Oats are rich in Carbohydrates, fiber and minerals like potassium.

Ingredients: Rolled Oats - 1 cup, Water/milk - 2 cups, Fresh Curd- 3/4 cup, Salt- to taste,  Coriander leaves- 1 tbsp (finely chopped), grated carrot- 1 tbsp, Oil - 1 tbsp, Mustard seeds - 1 tsp, Urad dal- 1 tsp, Ginger -1/2 " piece (finely chopped), Asafoetida- a pinch, Curry leaves- few


1.   Take the oats and water in a pan and cook it for 3-4 minutes till the oats get cooked. Beat the curd and mix it with the cooked oats. 

2.   Heat oil in a small tempering pan. Pop the mustard seeds and urad dal. Next fry the curry leaves. Add ginger and asafoetida to the oil.

3.   Add the oil to the oats-curd mix. Add salt and coriander leaves. Garnish with grated carrot and serve.
