Eggless Cheese Biscuits
Think baking is tough? No way! Here's a super-easy cheese biscuit recipe. Cheese is a great food as it contains valuable calcium.
Ingredients: 1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour, ½ Cup All Purpose Flour/Maida, 3 Tablespoon Salted Butter, Chilled, 4-5 Tablespoon Sugar Powder, 8 tablespoon Milk, ½ Cup Grated Cheese, ½ Teaspoon Baking Powder, ¼ Teaspoon Baking Soda, ½ Teaspoon Black Pepper Powder, 4 Tablespoon Olive Oil, 2 Tablespoon Chopped Almonds
1. Mix flour, maida, sugar powder, black pepper, baking powder and baking soda and mix well.
2. Add Chopped Chilled Butter, Grated Cheese, Chopped almonds. Lightly mix and add milk. Make a dough and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
3. After 30 minutes roll out dough to 1 cm thickness and cut out cookies.
4. Heat 2 tablespoon olive oil in a pan or tawa, keep flame on lowest. Place cheese biscuits on tawa. Flip after 3-4 minutes and cook till crisp and brown on both sides. Serve hot.
