Mushroom, a great source of Vitamin D, can be easily included in diet in the form of a creamy delicious soup. As mushrooms help improve the immune system of the body, a bowl of warm mushroom soup is the perfect idea.

Ingredients: 1 tbsp chopped onion, ¼ cup chopped mushrooms, 1 tbsp butter, ½ cup whole milk, a pinch of pepper powder and salt.

Steps:

1. Sauté onion and mushrooms in butter. Let it cool and blend them in a mixer.

2. In a pan take milk and add the above mixture. Boil and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes.

3. Add a pinch of pepper powder and salt. Cook till the soup becomes thick and creamy.

4. Serve in a bowl with a dollop of fresh cream.

Prepare this Mushroom Soup as an evening snack today.
