Racking your brains for a good breakfast dish? No worries, we have just the dish for you. Semolina is rich in Vitamins B & E, and this dish has loads of veggies too!
Ingredients: ½ cup semolina , 1 cup water, 5 tsp oil, ½ tsp mustard seeds, ½ tsp cumin seeds, ½ tsp chana dal, ½ tsp urad dal, few curry leaves, 10-15 cashews, ½ onion, chopped, ½ inch ginger, chopped, 1 tomato, chopped, ¼ cup beans, chopped, ¼ cup peas, ¼ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp vangi bhath powder, salt to taste, 1 tsp ghee
1. Take oil and fry mustard seeds, cumin, chana dal, urad dal and curry leaves. Add cashews and fry till they turn golden. Add onions and add ginger. Saute.
2. Add chopped tomatoes and fry till they become soft. Add beans and peas and fry for a minute.
3. Add water. Once the water begins to boil, add turmeric powder, vangi bhath powder, and salt to taste.
4. Lower flame and add the rava slowly stirring continuously.
Cover and simmer for a minute on a low flame. Add ghee and serve.
