Protein Rich Sprout Soup
Looking for something protein rich? Then try this Sprout Soup! Loaded with the goodness of steamed sprouts and veggies, this soup can be consumed in all seasons and is the perfect way to address your nutritional requirements.
Ingredients: ½ cup sprouts, 1 cup chopped mixed vegetables (carrots, bottle gourd, beans, capsicum, and pumpkin), ¾ cup water, salt, turmeric powder, grated paneer, cream, 1 tbsp butter and 1 tsp grated ginger.
1. Take a steam basket and put sprouts (of your choice) and mixed vegetables (carrots, bottle gourd, beans, capsicum, and pumpkin).
2. Steam till tender.
3. Cool and blend in a mixer to form a smooth puree.
4. Heat butter in a pan and sauté grated ginger.
5. Add water, salt, and turmeric. Bring it to boil and add the sprouts-veggie puree. Cook for few seconds.
6. Serve warm.
You can add a dollop of cream and garnish with grated paneer to make it tastier.
Note: If you do not have a steam basket, you can use any idli stand or a porous plate and steam the vegetables and sprouts for 5-10 minutes.
