Tasty Atta Laddoos
Atta Laddoo is a Whole Wheat sweet originating in North India and is well liked by all. It’s a healthy winter dessert packed with fibre fats, vitamins, and minerals.
Ingredients: 1 kg atta, 1 kg powdered sugar, 3 large cups of ghee, 40 gm ginger powder, 3 tbsp roasted ajwain, 50 gm raisins, 50 gm sultanas (a variety of dry grapes), 100 gm roasted and coarsely pounded almonds, 100 gm magaz (musk melon seeds), 50 gm roasted and lightly fried makhana (lotus seeds), and 50 gm lightly fried and coarsely ground gondh (edible gum crystals).
1. Dry roast atta in a large kadai and add ghee when it turns lightly brown. Sauté until the ghee gathers around the corners of the pan.
2. Cool this completely and add rest of the ingredients. Mix well.
3. Morph them into laddoos when still warm.
4. Serve with a glass of milk for a complete meal.
