Yummy Apple Pear Oatmeal
Oatmeal is an excellent breakfast option. Add in fruits and it becomes a highly nutritious food option too!. Apple Pear Oatmeal will keep you fuelled for the entire day.
Ingredients: 2 cups water, 1 apple, 1 pear, ¾ cup oatmeal, 1/3 cup dried cherries, ¼ cup raisins, 2 tbsp brown sugar, ¼ tsp vanilla essence, ¼ tsp freshly grated nutmeg powder, and a pinch of cinnamon.
1. Bring 2 cups of water to boil.
2. Peel, core, and cube apple and pear.
3. Add oatmeal along with the cubed apple and pear in the water.
4. Add dried cherries, raisins, brown sugar, vanilla essence, nutmeg powder, and a pinch of cinnamon.
5. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until the fruits are tender.
6. Cool and serve.
