‘Pick up your toy, put in the toy basket and close the lid,’ this 3 step command is now something that your baby can follow. With her language and brain developed enough to remember the sequence, she can now easily follow instructions that have 2-3 steps. Hence, you now have a little helper at home who understands your simple instructions and loves to help around the house.
What you need to know At this stage there is a tremendous growth spurt in language development of your baby and the vocabulary consists of more than 50 words. A combination of these words to form simple 2-3 step commands can be easily understood and followed by your child.
