At this point of time, your baby starts developing a hand and muscle coordination that assists him in making certain movements such as placing of objects in a container or moving them around. At this age, your baby is very well able to recognise objects that can be placed within a container and he displays this development by regularly performing such activities, even with small objects.
What you need to do
Encourage your child to play with small toys and container like objects, which will stimulate him to evolve and attempt using his hand and motor skills to move around small objects. In this way, your baby will easily engage his skills and movement towards these activities, slowly evolving them. Make sure that you keep him away from sharp objects though.
