You must have noticed your child is now showing signs of emotional development. There could be a lot of up and down moments when your baby suddenly becomes cranky and weepy from a friendly beaming one.

At this age emotional changes are taking place and your child is struggling to understand and control the actions, feelings and impulses that he is feeling. Your child is trying to test his limits and as a result there will be more exploring of the environment. Lack of some of the skills that are yet to develop will result in frustration in your child and this can result in mood swings, hitting, kicking, screaming, etc.
