By this age, your little one gets accustomed to routines very well. Hence, this is the ideal time to instil regular sleeping habits in your toddler. Put her to sleep at regular times. Do not postpone sleeping time based on the reasoning that a later bedtime will ensure that she will sleep through the night. On the contrary, if your child is too tired, she will not sleep well.
Establish routines before bed time, which will relax her and help her sleep better. These routines may include taking a warm bath, brushing teeth, putting on night clothes, reading a story book, or praying.
