Your little one is all grown up and gone are the days of breast feeding and formula milk. Your kiddo can have some yummy superfoods now! Introduce variety in meals and present it to them in attractive ways to ensure they get maximum health benefits.
What you need to know:
There are some super-foods that you should introduce in your little one's meals. These include citruses and fibre rich foods like berries, lychees, and raspberries. These have a positive effect on their development and promote good health.
Give them a good dose of carbohydrates by adding sweet potatoes, yogurt, pasta and brown rice to their meal time. Add tomatoes for better immunity and make it a point to serve colourful veggies.
Ideally, serve them everything that an adult should have and make sure that you don’t miss out on healthy foods. If you are a non-vegetarian, consider giving your child salmon and other fishes as well, but limit their quantity to 200 gm a week.
